Our Beaumont, TX client is in need of a Training Coordinator for their office.
Responsible for the following:
Start the initial process of the company orientation with all new Hires/Existing Personnel
Begin an assessment of what the candidate needs in regards to OQ (Performance Evaluations in the field or in yard)
Assessment to be Proctors for OQ Testing
Refer and suggest Performance Evaluations to the Safety Department
Schedule Specific Training for personnel
They will assess the candidate to see what training they need vs. what they have and report to Management of what training they will need to comply with and schedule them accordingly.
They will be responsible to submit all OQ Performance Evaluations from the Safety Department
Communicate with Safety & Training (S&T) Admin to update the training database
Follow-Ups with Specific training needs such as DOW, Explorer, etc.
Print Training Cards with the training certification
Do onsite training assessment in Forklift, Man-Lift, and Overhead Crane Certification and assist with Excavation Certification
File all respective training documentation for OQ and Performance Evaluations
Other responsibilities that may interact with Safety and OQ
Present material in a class room setting
Interaction with other Departments:
The department interaction these training coordinators will be with Area Managers, S&T Admin, Safety, Training and HR-Generalist
They will eventually be part of ongoing training to get to the next level and start training in other areas as their performance and responsibilities increase.
Qualifications:
Strong desire to work in a Training department and offer training on a continuious basis.
Must be available to travel up to 20% of the time.
Experience with Veriforce would be very helpful.
TWIC card and have majority of the basic safety council completed
CPR instructor cert
Pipeline experience is a must!
PMT (Pipeline Maintenance Technician) certification through NCCER or 5 years of experience in Pipeline Maintenance.
MPT (Mechanical Pipeline Technician) certification through NCCER or 5 years of experience as a Pipeline Mechanic.
Other NCCER certification or experience as a Corrosion Tech or Electrical Tech with pipeline experience.

The Estimator is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of project productivity and sales volume to the Estimating Manager on a weekly basis.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years estimating experience in upstream (pipelines, production facilities and/or offshore platforms / floating solutions) or downstream (process units, chemical units, utilities and offsite) projects.
Needs to have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Strong computer and analytical skills especially with all Microsoft Products including Microsoft Projects are a must!
Experience in HCSS Heavy Bid or other comparable estimating software a plus.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Responsible performing estimating functions for the purpose of providing high quality Lump Sum Estimates with limited supervision. Assist in preparation of estimating procedures for projects. Responsible for creating basic to detail level schedules for Estimates. Ability to analyze, interpret, and track cost to give to management for awarded jobs. Able to meet or better aggressive deadlines.
Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret reports, plans, contracts, technical reports, and industry/trade agreements and have the ability to effectively present information to prospective customers and management.
Ability to analyze, and interpret construction and technical reports and convert information into monthly and annual projections for the company.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety (not required) and 5+ years’ experience in management of HSE Programs. Direct experience with offshore platform worksites is a REQUIREMENT for this position.
Responsibilities:
Manages and directs all corporate HSE functions.
Assist with the formulation of corporate safety policies, programs and procedures to achieve compliance.
Administers corporate-wide safety training to employees.
Participates on the Safety Committee and works together with committee members to achieve safety goals.
Administers HSE objectives on a short and long term basis taking into consideration company objectives, client requirements, division and/or project needs, current and proposed safety and health regulations and industry safety developments and practices.
Maintains knowledge of all local, state and federal regulations (i.e. OSHA, MSDS, HAZOPS, HAZMAT).

Investigates and manages all workforce safety incidents and workers compensation claims.

Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual Injury and Illness reporting statistics.
Updates safety questionnaires and statistical reports from customers or regulatory agencies, including but not limited to: ISNetworld, Veriforce, NCMS, and DISA.
